Roundtables
Roundtables are gatherings of artists to share, learn and socialize. There are three roundtable groups which each meet twice per year - Performing Arts Roundtable (PAR), Literary Arts Roundtable (LAR) and Visual Artists and Artisans Roundtable (VAAR).
LITERARY ARTS ROUNDTABLE EVENT
Dominion Hotel Pub, Minden
This event was hosted by The Arts Council ~ Haliburton Highlands and co-sponsored by University of King’s College.
Celebrating the launch of David Pate’s book, The Worst Songs in the World – The Terrible Truth about National Anthems There will also be a reading by Helga Rausch, a University of King`s College colleague, reading from her soon-to-be published book, Leaders, All: Women in the Canadian Armed Forces Since WWII.

PAR Roundtable - February 6, 2024
HEY all you performing arts presenters promoters and creators!
Our last roundtable was in February 2024 where ideas were shared and updates about the Performing Arts Centre were given.

VAAR Roundtable - June 27, 2023
We met at The Haliburton Highlands Museum.
After introductions and some brainstorming on future roundtables,
Pat Bradley, a volunteer with Hyland Crest, a long-term care home in Haliburton, ON shared her vision of a proposed project following The Butterfly Model of Care. The project is being explored for Hyland Crest and Highland Woods long term care homes perhaps involving visual artists in the community.
