VALERIE KENT
My name is Valerie Kent, BFA, B.Ed, MFA, OCT. I am happily a full-time artist. With this come many facets of how an artist is understood. I enjoy painting all the time because it is what I love doing. I also spend time with fellow artists in the capacity of instructor at many venues. Some of them are the Haliburton School of Art and Design, Loyalist College in Belleville and Port Hope and at several Art Associations, such as the one in Brighton, Ontario.
I teach a number of workshops: gouache, watercolour, acrylic, mixed media, collaging, and many more. I teach flower painting, landscapes, mixed-media painting, and more.
It has been my pleasure to serve on juries for art competitions hosted by associations, both online and in person. I am always pleased to accept commissions for unique and original artwork.
