SUSAN TROMANHAUSER
Everyone has a story and author Susan Tromanhauser writes those stories in her bi-weekly column in The Highlander entitled “Humans of Haliburton Highlands.” A collection of those columns has recently been published in a chapbook, showcasing regular people living their best life in the Highlands. Susan has also recently completed her debut novel What We Accept, a story about a mother and thirteen-year-old son’s parallel journeys to be accepted and recognized through the world of elite travel youth hockey. Along the way they each discover what they are willing to accept about the culture of hockey.
