We are a non-profit, non-governmental, registered environmental charity whose mission is to protect the natural heritage of Haliburton County for future generations.

The Haliburton Highlands Land Trust (HHLT) is your independent, non-government community resource organization for land and water protection. HHLT owns, manages and protects 7 properties totaling 1,500 acres of forest, wetlands and open areas. Our mission is to protect land, water and natural heritage within Haliburton County for future generations. We welcome you to enjoy our year round hiking trails at both

Barnum Creek Nature Reserve and Dahl Forest or paddle out to Norah's Island on Kennisis Lake
