A semi-annual presentation on the Arts Council Haliburton Highlands YouTube channel featuring a series of six-minute video vignettes created by artists of all genres.

Art Trail
The art trail showcases the amazing talent of our local artists. Based on the theme of Renewal, the trail features artwork that evokes a sense of re-awakening in the Highlands, as we emerge from the isolation and restrictions of the Covid 19 pandemic. Twenty-eight artists have been paired with host venues that are accessible to the public and are located throughout the Haliburton Highlands.

Art in Public Spaces
The Art in Public Spaces program brings the work of our local artists into the community and showcases the amazing talent in Haliburton Highlands. The Arts Council partners with interested venues to provide opportunities for art exhibitions and then invites members to submit their work. The program is overseen by a committee of dedicated volunteers.

Bookapalooza
Bookapalooza is a tradeshow event to attract local Readers and Writers from Haliburton County, as well as from Muskoka, Durham Region, Bancroft, and other nearby areas. This a family event open to ages and represents the community of which we are so proud.

Digital Comfort Cafe
The Digital Comfort Café was designed as an extension of The Digital Comfort Studio. A series of four individual workshops was offered covering Instagram reels, Using IG analytics, podcasting and effective social media content.

Digital Comfort Studio
The Digital Comfort Studio was developed by the Arts Council to address the impacts of COVID-19 on its members and others through the provision of technical and professional services. Funding from Haliburton County Development Corporation made it possible for the Arts Council to hire Coordinators, artists, and other professionals to present their expertise, advice, and feedback to members of the Arts Council and the arts community through an 8-week program.
The topics covered new marketing strategies, strategies for working remotely, pivoting business operations, advice for diversifying sale channels, adapting and adopting a virtual sales platform, social media and more.

Fashion Fallies
Fashion Fallies is a wearable art fashion show presented by the Arts Council Haliburton Highlands that encourages artists to explore new and experimental ideas of garment & accessory creation.

Roundtables
Roundtables are gatherings of artists to share, learn and socialize. There are three roundtable groups which each meet twice per year - Performing Arts Roundtable (PAR), Literary Arts Roundtable (LAR) and Visual Artists and Artisans Roundtable (VAAR).

The Story Circle
An initiative conceived by the Literary Arts Roundtable. Each Monday at 11:00 am a story or poem is read by a local author on Canoe FM Radio. Recorded stories can be found on the Canoe FM website.
