Artist Inspiration

Our garden is my inspiration for the “Renewal” photographic print of two bees on a sunflower. By growing wildflowers, sunflowers, herbs and vegetables every year, this keeps the bees buzzing and pollinating.
The significance of bees and sunflowers is symbolic in the year 2022,

Artist Bio

June Krisko was born in Burlington, Ontario and studied fine arts in southern Ontario in the early 1990s. She and her husband now live off-grid in the woods of Haliburton and she finds this type of lifestyle inspirational.

Her focus is on nature, fine art photography and abstract art. She creates greeting cards, limited edition prints, postcards and yearly calendars with her photographs.

An important part of her printing process is to source out local suppliers, to use recycled cardstock and biodegradable packaging.
