WHITTEKER, RICK
AUTHOR

Moving to the Highlands in 1997, Rick worked as an outdoor educator for Haliburton Forest  Wild Life Reserve and at Fleming College coordinating and teaching in an outdoor adventure program. Recently, he joined the Haliburton Highlands Land Trust working to support private landowners in their property stewardship. After decades of work in the outdoors, Rick feels it is time to give back  to share his passion and joy of moving slowly through the wild spaces of the Haliburton Highlands. Nature Nuggets is a compilation of articles written for the County Life newspaper via his column Naturally Yours.
