LOVE, JIM
AUTHOR

Jim Love doesn't just write about a world where technology and humanity collide — he's lived at that intersection for decades.
The author of Elisa: A Tale of Quantum Kisses — an Audible bestseller — and his provocative new release, The Compassion Virus, Jim brings rare authenticity to fiction that asks the questions our near future is already demanding answers to. With forty years of hands-on experience in information technology, Jim doesn't imagine a plausible tomorrow so much as recognize it.
But Jim Love defies easy categorization. Before he wrote novels, he earned a Juno Award nomination as a songwriter and a gold album to his name. He's performed in leading roles on stages across Canada and appeared on television and radio. He debuted as a lyricist with the CBC musical Sunnyville and his play Iron River continues to delight audiences in Haliburton. He still records and performs today, with two recent albums — Highland Lullaby and Last Man Standing — proving the creative engine hasn't slowed.
He's also the voice behind two of the most widely followed tech podcasts in the world — Cybersecurity Today and Hashtag Trending — reaching thousands of listeners daily across the globe.
All of which is to say: when Jim Love writes about artificial intelligence, human connection, and the seductive dangers of a wired world, he's drawing on a life that most fiction writers could only research.
Both Elisa and The Compassion Virus are available in paperback, ebook, and audiobook. The audiobook is narrated by Jim.
