Sharon Lawrence is a retired educator, textile artists, painter, writer, and speaker. She attended the University of Guelph, Lakeshore Teacher’s College, and the Ontario College of Art and Design.
In 1984 Sharon and her late husband RD Lawrence, a field biologist, journalist, foreign correspondent, WWII veteran, and award winning internationally published author, bought a large wilderness property in the Halliburton Highlands, where they raised, rehabilitated and released injured and orphaned wildlife,
