Rick Ferguson has retired after a 46-year career as a project manager and estimator in the sheet metal industry. He now has time to pursue his passion: writing fiction.
Rick self-published The Ghosts in Maple Leaf Gardens through iUniverse in 2013, a fictional tale of the curse upon the Toronto Maple Leafs and their failure to win a Stanley Cup since 1967. He is a member of the Uxbridge Writers Circle and the WCDR, and the WCYR. His recently completed novel, The Grief Coach, about a high school football coach turned grief counselor, will be published next year. Reading Intuit Publishing released Rick's holiday collection, Three Christmas Stories, in October 2025. And You Books included one story, Snowed Inn at Christmas, in their Home for the Holidays: A Christmastime Anthology, which they published in November.
