Wendie Donabie paints with words—and when words aren’t enough, she turns to canvas. An award-winning writer and artist, her work appears in literary magazines and collections, with her essay Mother Earth earning gold in Art Ascent Magazine. Her 2024 book, Views from the Edge of the Earth, blends poetry, artwork, and photography in a heartfelt celebration of nature and a call to protect it. A portion of her sales supports wildlife conservation. Wendie is also co-founder and Vice-President of the Muskoka Authors Association and is currently working on a Muskoka-based murder mystery.
