I grew up on a farm in Norfolk County, Ontario and lived in the west end of Toronto most of my adult life, where my husband Joel and I raised our two daughters, Brittany and Hailey.

We were cottagers in the Kawarthas for over 40 years and now reside in beautiful Bobcaygeon.

Our girls now live in Australia with their partners, and our grandsons – Fyfe, Hendrix, Tait and Halen.

When Joel and I can, we make the pilgrimage downunder to visit the gang.

As a public relations consultant my writing skills were honed drafting press releases for my lifestyle clients and in my earlier career days, fashion and beauty copy for Canadian Living Magazine.

Telling our young “CanAussie” grandsons bedtime stories about their Moms growing up in Canada was the catalyst to writing my first children’s book.
