An afternoon of original music in the artful surroundings of Rails End Gallery with "The Smooth Operators", a new trio making waves on the local scene. Together, they're bringing their smooth sounds to audiences across the County. We are delighted to welcome them to Rails End Gallery on Saturday June 1 for some afternoon grooves.

The Musicians: Jodi Timgren, singer songwriter, guitar Jodi’s bold voice has been her instrument from early on. From 1993 –2001, Jodi was part of the group Aridella. She released her debut album “Weigh The Needle Down" in 2022. She continues to work as a soloist and collaborator in the Haliburton area. Jodi co-writes under the name name “Silva Musica” (follow on Bandcamp) with Richard Joudrey of Blue Peter and Rational Youth.
Rich Anton, harmonica Rich Anton, your go-to blues aficionado and harmonica maestro! With 28 years of harmonica prowess, Rich brings a touch of soul to the airwaves of Haliburton County as the host of Canoe FM 100.9's Buckslide Blues. His deep-rooted love for the blues spans from leisurely listening to skillfully playing the harmonica. Now, as a fresh face in the county, Rich is thrilled to share his passion for blues music and connect with the vibrant community through the magic of radio.
Dan (The Piano Man) O'Neil Dan can play just about anything on his keyboard - from accompanying the Ukuladies to more professional gigs he loves to tickle the ivories and make beautiful music with others.
