About the event
We will march into the new year with a bang with the film The Marching Band on Thursday, January 8th. 4:15 and 7:15 pm at the Northern Lights Performing Arts Pavilion.
This film, shot in the north of France tells the story of an acclaimed orchestra conductor who, while seeking a bone marrow donor to treat leukemia, finds out that he has a brother. The two men live entirely different lives, but they manage to find connections through music. The director, Emmanuel Courcol found a local marching band to play in the movie.
The Those Other Movies committee and film circuit groups from across Canada give this film top marks and are excited to kick off 2026 with the screening of this film.
