This engaging session will explore how local governments and community members can work together to drive meaningful change.

What to expect:

- A short and accessible civic explainer from Jessica Slade (Civics with Slade), covering how municipal government works, what roles are up for election in 2026, and how individuals can get involved.

- A series of short in-person presentations showcasing inspiring local examples of community-government collaboration from across the County—including success stories from Minden Hills, Highlands East, Dysart et al, and Algonquin Highlands.
