About the event

Sue  Shikaze and Myrna McBrien are local long time buddies and have voices  that blend like a chocolate smoothie. Sue and Myrna met at Queen’s U and  started singing and harmonizing in cafés and open stages around  Kingston. The duo have performed off and on for the past (undisclosed)  number of years. Sue is a co-artistic director for the Haliburton County Folk Society’s  concert series, a member of local band Trio Cappuccino, and an engaging  radio Host of Northern Aire on Canoe. FM. When not singing, Myrna, is an  educator, professional artist, actor and director. Sue and Myrna were  honoured to open for Boreal at the Forest Festival this year. They are  looking forward to feature on Dec.9 at one of the Folk Society’s popular  open stages. Myrna and Sue are happy to be in such good company.
