In the Footsteps of Heroes – Canadian WW2 Battlefields, Memorials & Cemeteries

As part of the 80th Anniversary of the end of World War II, Belinda Wilson shares her Royal Canadian Legion Pilgrimage of Remembrance — a journey to Canadian battlefields, memorials, and cemeteries in northern France and Belgium. The presentation will be illustrated with photos, stories, and songs, offering a moving reflection on the sacrifices and legacy of Canadian service members. Free admission. Refreshments will be available. In addition, visitors can explore the exhibit When Daylight Comes by Honouring Bravery, highlighting Canadians during D-Day. The exhibit will be open to the public in the Welch Room during regular Cultural Centre hours from October 21 to 24, 2025.
