Swapping songs & stories for the very first time these 2 local area legends come together for one night!
Albert Saxby has been a musician for 40 plus years, starting out in the seventies as the drummer and founding member of the infamous Toronto band Absolute Whores, then in later years singer/songwriter for Bucket of Shrimp Ears and Raven Mad Crow Society, influenced by the likes of Max Webster, The Beatles and John Prine. With thousands of gigs under his belt and well over a hundred original, gritty, dark, humorous thought provoking tunes he has gained the respect of his peers and audience members worldwide.
2023 IAMA (International Award Music Winner) Gordie Tentrees was raised in the Bancroft/Haliburton area and performs a rare hometown show after 16 years, 8 records, and over 5000 concerts in 11 countries while also touring with friends Fred Eaglesmith, Mary Gauthier and Steve Poltz. Off the road he is a member of an indigenous led land based team Shawthan Nazhi writing healing songs with vulnerable families.
