Those Other Movies is thrilled to announce this year’s Haliburton International Film Festival (HIFF) November 7, 8, 9, at the Northern Lights Performing Arts Pavilion in Haliburton, ON, AND at the Highlands Cinema in Kinmount, ON.

After watching over 50 films at the Toronto’s International Film Festival and Sudbury’s Cinefest, the committee is excited about the lineup coming to Haliburton County. The films in this year’s line-up tell epic tales and small stories about overcoming adversity and persevering against all odds, with jazz scores flowing through many of our films. Many of the films find ways to make us laugh even while portraying challenges.

We will be showing seven films, opening the festival with Guillermo del Toro's Frankenstein at the iconic Highlands Cinema in Kinmount! We are excited about a local connection…
