Haliburton Art and Craft Festival
Hours: Friday 12 - 5, Sat 10 - 5 & Sunday 10 - 4. Admission $5, 14 yrs and under free. 100 Artists and Artisans, bandshell performance by Juno nominated Beny Esguerra and New Tradition Music.
There will be local buskers and three super food vendors to choose from (Brisket Daddy (smoked meats/mac&cheese/potato salad), Edilicious (Belgian Fries) and Muster Point ( Italian Style Deli Focaccia Sandwiches and Barista Coffee, using all Ontario Meats and Cheeses.)
Two special musical happenings are planned for the Bandshell:
Saturday 1 - 2 pm
Beny Esguerra & New Tradition Music
sponsored by Razzamataz Kids Shows and DH3.
Bridging the gap between audience and performer, Esguerra will engage the crowd through traditional and original music with dance, woven around the stories of Afro-Indigenous Colombian music together with a lively dose of Hip Hop culture.
Sunday 1 - 2 pm
Sound Bath Experience!
Bring your yoga mat or blanket for comfort, bottle of water and an open mind. Join Biljana from WhirlingWisdom@DivinePlay and attune to sacred space and sounds while listening to the crystal bowls vibrations; brass singing bowls; ocean drum waves; chimes, soothing flute sounds and heart drum rhythms, chants and other world percussion instruments.
