Gouache Painting for Beginners
Course Code: ARTS2989
Artists world-wide have taken to using gouache paint. It is fast-drying, clean and offers brilliant colours. Long used by illustrators and designers, it can be re-wetted and reworked, photographs beautifully, and allows you to paint light over dark with strong colour impact. In this course, you will learn to use gouache to create vibrant landscapes, working from provided photographs or your own reference images. Demonstrations, individual guidance, and supportive critiques are included. Techniques learned in gouache can transfer easily to acrylic, oil, and watercolour.
