About the event
Join us for a captivating documentary screening of Sovereign Soil, a beautifully filmed exploration of northern life, food sovereignty, and the deep relationship between people and the land. Set in Dawson City, Yukon, the film follows a diverse group of farmers, growers, and land stewards — from Indigenous families to young agrarians — who work with the rhythms of the boreal climate to feed their community year-round.
No registration required. The film is provided courtesy of the National Film Board (NFB) in collaboration with the Minden Hills Cultural Centre. Film will be screened in the Welch Room.
