About the event

Join  the Minden Hills Cultural Centre on September 14 for a field trip to the  original sawdust burner that inspired Burner  Herzog, an exhibit by local artists Gary Blundell and Victoria Ward,  now on display at the Agnes Jamieson Gallery until November 23. Our  field trip will start at the Agnes Jamieson Gallery at 10 am for a tour  of the exhibit with Gary and Victoria.  At 11 am  we will individually drive to Deep Roots Adventure, on Elephant Lake  Road near the east gates of Algonquin Park, for lunch. Following lunch,  Gary and Victoria will lead a hike to the site of the Burner. Lunch  won’t be provided and there is no fee to sign up,  but participants are still required to complete pre-registration by  e-mailing culturalcentre@mindenhills.ca or calling 705-286-3763. Attendees must have their own vehicle of transportation and bring their own lunch.
