Join us for a special screening of Any Other Way: The Jackie Shane Story (2024) at the Minden Hills Cultural Centre in collaboration with Haliburton County Public Library and Pride in the Highlands. Directed by Michael Mabbott and Lucah Rosenberg-Lee, the documentary explores the life and legacy of Jackie Shane, a pioneering Black transgender soul singer who rose to fame in 1960s Toronto.
