The Algonquin Highlands Writer’s Circle
The AH Writer’s Circle is an informal local group that meets for the joy of writing. Participants do not critique each other’s writing, unless the author asks for their piece to be critiqued. We encourage and recognize each author’s style as their unique voice. It’s interesting to pay attention to what resonates with each other's writings.
The group meets every two weeks on Saturday 9:00-Noon at St Peter’s Anglican Church on St Peter’s Road in Stanhope. April dates are the 4th and 18th.
During gatherings, writers have 40 minutes to write. Afterwards those who wish to share what they’ve written can read to the group followed by the members expressing their comments in a positive manner.
Some of the members are experienced writers; some are absolute beginners who have never written before. We are each there for the pure joy of writing! Each member donations…
