About the event
In our third year, Pride in the Highlands, in partnership with the Minden Hills Cultural Centre and Walling Studios, is proud to present the Voice of Pride exhibit. Highlighting emerging and established artists from across Haliburton County, the exhibit will be on display from August 11-29 at the Cultural Centre.
Art is a way to express yourself and have your voice heard and seen. Throughout history powerful queer artists have pushed boundaries, made statements and expressed their emotions in all mediums. Together, let our Voice of Pride be seen. The artist reception will take place at the MHCC on Wed. August 19 from 7:00 - 9:00 pm.
The MHCC is open Tuesday to Saturday from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm. Admission is by donation.
