My name is Kathy Marlene Bailey, a visual artist who does oil paintings using indirect Renaissance glaze oil methods. I have been a life-long professional artist and instructor. I am proud to own Bailey Studio, an absolutely lovely space on Maple Lake, at 1179 St. Peter's Road in Algonquin Highlands. Here I paint, teach and sell fabulous art supplies to my fellow painters online.
Professional Art Products is my art supply company that I have run for about ten years now.
I hone my product line very carefully. I scour scholarly technical pages, product ratings, and search endlessly for the very, best performers in painting supplies available world-wide. Then I try them. As I paint, I assess my materials and tools, testing for the most spectacular performers. If I love them, I carry them. If they are top-rated in the world, I carry them. I judge according to product performance in optics, workability, archival permanence, non-toxicity and environmental sustainability. I am delighted that most of the best products I have found from Canadian or European suppliers. I even carry the elusive and legendary world's best Rosemary & Co Brushes! I do carry two American products lines - Gamblin and Golden, because they absolutely outperform all other oil and acrylic paints and are just superb companies. I am proud to say that after decades of hunting and researching, I have accumulated a complete arsenal of leading technology painting products. You will absolutely love each and every one of them - whatever paint media that you work in. And if there is a product you can't find or find affordably, I can very likely help you and get it for you.
