Artist Inspiration

A new season arrives, a new day breaks, and the kayak beckons. After a long winter, there is nothing better than to return to the water, as the sun warms the earth, the buds appear on the trees and wildlife awakens. Paddling on the water is one of my favourite pastimes, and also a favourite subject for painting. We are fortunate to live in a place where the changing seasons remind us so vividly of renewal.

Artist Bio

Susanne James is a local Realtor and artist. Over the years she has been a potter and glass artist, and more recently she has also added acrylic painting to her repertoire. Inspired by the local Haliburton landscapes and landmarks, there is endless art waiting to be made, and no time to be bored!
