The sculptures are installed at sites along Highland Street, the main street of the downtown core of Haliburton Village in Ontario, Canada. Each year we have a new exhibition. Stone Tree Studio, near Dorset, is where sculptor Elise Muller and wood worker Cirvan Hamilton create. Cirvan's furniture and Elise's sculpture have won awards. Gord is a watercolour artist. The surrounding landscape in the Haliburton Highlands, Ontario has been a great source of inspiration for most of his paintings - scenes the viewer may recognize from a walk in the woods or a view across the lake. Watercolour allows Gord to transfer the light and shadow to his paintings. He interprets the essence of the subject rather than producing detailed likenesses of actual places.

The Haliburton Highlands Museum o?ers visitors a fascinating look into the past through our extensive facilities. Our Main Gallery building is open year-round and features thematic exhibits depicting the history of Haliburton and other areas of the Municipality of Dysart et al. Other attractions include Reid House, a former village home dating from 1882, and our log farmstead, featuring a variety of buildings dating from the 1870�s and relocated to our current site in Glebe Park. Reid House is open spring through fall, while the farmstead is open during the summer months.

Halls Island Artist Residency is open to artists in all disciplines. Located on Koshlong Lake, the residency island is off-grid with limited solar resources: perfect for leaving distractions behind and focusing on a creative practice.
