Terry Wright's painting, Civic Duty, is a segment of personal history, depicting the Dysart Councillors of 1912. There is a strong sense of continuity between past and present, in the streets, buildings, people and surrounding hills of Dysart et al.
The councillors are standing in front of the Lucas House, still standing across from the Town Hall, remaining as the headquarters for municipal government.
