Call for Proposals for a new sculpture for the Haliburton Sculpture Forest
Theme: “Together, We Explore the Wild.”

Artists are invited to submit proposals for a new sculpture for the Haliburton Sculpture Forest located in Glebe Park in the village of Haliburton, Ontario.
The Haliburton Sculpture Forest is looking for a work of artistic excellence and durability that suits the natural attributes of the Haliburton Sculpture Forest and addresses the theme “Together, We Explore the Wild”.
The winning artist will be responsible for the cost of materials and transporting the sculpture to the site.
The sculpture may be an existing work or a new work. The Sculpture Forest will pay up to $15,000 (inclusive of HST) for the work.
Sculpture is to be installed by June 15, 2016
Proposals must include a description of the sculpture, detailed drawings or a maquette (if it is a proposed new work), photographs (if it is an existing work), description of materials and installation method and five pictures of other recent work. Details are provided in the terms of reference.
